Join the Garstang Osteoporosis Support Group on Tuesday, 20 October for a special World Osteoporosis Day event featuring local historian Paul G. Smith and his presentation, Garstang: History, Old and New.
Taking place at 10:30 AM at Garstang Library, the talk will explore Garstang’s history from the 17th century to more recent times. Using maps, photographs, and previously unseen images, Paul will bring the town’s past to life, including its period of prosperity before the arrival of the railway in 1840.
