The conference on Parathyroid Gland Disorders held in Armenia was a great success. Some 170 medical professionals attended in person and an additional 190 joined via the online platform, which underscores the significance of this event. It’s importance was also highlighted by the fact that the Ministry of Health of Georgia and Armenia opened the conference.
The Georgian Association of Skeletal Metabolism Diseases and the Armenian Osteoporosis Association expressed their gratitude to the International Osteoporosis Foundation (IOF) for endorsing the conference and for IOF’s continued support and collaboration in promoting the event globally.
World Osteoporosis Day is an important occasion to raise awareness and understanding of osteoporosis and related disorders among healthcare professionals. This event, which was led by speaker Prof. John Bilezikien, a global authority in this field, was immensely valuable in increasing knowledge of parathyroid gland disorders.
Participants included: Endocrinologists, therapists, nephrologists, urologists, rheumatologists, obstetricians-gynecologists, traumatologists, and orthopedic surgeons.
